MEET DAPHNE

Mirror Ministries, and Daphne Delay, are focused on spreading the Good News of God's RIGHTEOUSNESS to this generation!

Hi! My name is Daphne and I know first-hand what unworthiness, guilt, and condemnation can do to a believer. Not being raised in a Christian home, I carried all my insecurities from the world into my walk with God when I was born-again at the age of 21.

After several years of struggling as a Christian, God planted me square in front of the mirror and told me to tell the girl looking back that I loved her and forgave her. It was then I finally realized it wasn't God who hadn't forgiven me--I simply hadn't' forgiven myself.

Through the years, God has graciously developed a gift in me to teach and minister His Word to others concerning RIGHTEOUSNESS (the BIG word for what He revealed to me in my mirror) in a simple and easy-to-grasp-and-apply approach. What I once thought was a “Daphne” problem, God revealed as a “believer” problem.

Mirror Ministries was launched in 2003 after the release of my first book. I've also written over 200 weekly devotionals for subscribers around the world, which are now printed in my local newspaper [I secretly have hopes to someday be syndicated in other cities too]. I've also been privileged to be a guest writer for CBN.com (the online magazine of Pat Roberson and the 700 Club) on numerous occasions and am now a full-time "guest writer" for their ministry.

I am an author and speaker for this ministry, which I founded in 2003. I've written over 200 devotionals for subscribers and currently write weekly on my blog. I also have a weekly column in my local newspaper in Seminole, Texas, and am honored to be a regular guest writer for CBN.com, SpeakerChicks, and Inspired Woman.

I currently speaks nationally and internationally several times a year AND JUST RELEASED is a brand-new book entitled, Facing the Mirror: Finding a Self to Live With. It is my testimony of discovering righteousness and how to live victoriously despite what you've been through.

The long-term mission of Mirror Ministries is to spread the message of righteousness to the Body of Christ in order to help believers walk in their God-given authority. I believe one of the biggest hindrances to advancing the Kingdom of God is a lack of understanding by believers of who they are in Christ.

Through my writing and speaking, I hope to eliminate this problem.

1. A FAITH TO LIVE BY

Righteousness is:
a. Believing God's Word
b. Standing strong in the face of adversity

The Inspired Woman was developed by JudiJo Adams as a place where women could find inspiration, and be an inspiration to others. Their site is subscribed to by thousands of women internationally. JudiJo and her husband are missionaries and apostles to Egypt, Spain, and many other locations, where they start and oversee Bible schools. Daphne shares inspiring devotionals for this website, and is honored to be close friends with JudiJo and her husband.

SpeakerChicks.com is a new venture by Kathi Lipp, author of The Husband Project and The Me Project. SpeakerChicks.com is a place where ministry leaders can find free resources for their events and/or ministries, as well as info on potential guest speakers. Daphne considers Kathi to be one of her mentors and is honored to have been included in this ministry outreach.

Family Harvest Church is Daphne's home church in Seminole, Texas, where she co-pastors with her husband, Tod Delay. Daphne teaches their Membership Class, leads Tapestry Women's Ministry, and preaches as needed. FHC is a thriving, growing congregation with a diverse group of people who love God and are hungry to share their faith and live uncompromised lifestyles.
